Asana's - Leadership

Asana's founder Dr. Nitin Nanda is a respected physician, entrepreneur, leader, and educator. He is Assistant Clinical Professor at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine and Clinical Assistant Professor in Medicine at the USC Keck School of Medicine. Dr. Nanda is Chief of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health at the Los Angeles Jewish Home. He also serves as Medical Director of the Lisa and Ernest Auerbach Geriatric Psychiatry Unit, at the Joyce Eisenberg-Keefer Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Dr. Nanda obtained his medical training in India and served briefly in Africa, where he worked with a community hospital and clinics, caring for the very ill and underserved. He then joined UCSF School of Medicine's Clinical Research department, and later completed an Internship and Residency at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine. While there, he was nominated Chief Resident. Following his deep interest and passion in caring for seniors, he pursued a Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship at UCLA, a nationally recognized program for the geriatric subspecialty.

Dr. Nanda exhibited traits as a leader and visionary early in his career, when he transformed a thriving solo practice into one of the larger healthcare specialty provider practices in Southern California. He built a successful practice model based on clinical acumen, efficiency, compassion, and fiscal viability. Today, he combines his business, communication, technological and medical skills to offer an array of healthcare clients unique and innovative turnkey models of healthcare delivery.

Dr. Rekha Raja brings a diverse background in medicine. She completed medical training at Des Moines University Medical School in Iowa, followed by a residency in Family Practice. She practiced for five years before going into a second residency in Adult Psychiatry at Cedars Sinai Hospital, Los Angeles. Dr. Raja is Co-principal Investigator of national clinical research trials and is an established expert in women's mental health issues. She offers tremendous value as a compassionate, skilled, and experienced provider.

Ash Mohammad is Manager Information Technology for ATHM with oversight responsibility for managing global IT infrastructure, Technology Governance and spearheading programs to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the company's dispersed technology resources. He is responsible for the entire spectrum of Asana's IT, including solution designing, installation and deployment, managed services, customer support, training and local partner management to setting up Telemedicine and network system across the globe. Prior to joining Asana, Ash served as a Global IT Infrastructure Manager for Infogain, Innodata ISOGEN, and Keane Inc. Ash earned Electronics and Computer Science Engineering degree from JMI Central University and various certifications from many technology leaders of the market like Microsoft, Cisco, ITIL, Information Security and Polycom.
